THE CREATIVE WAVE
The Creative Wave is a short film that introspectively explores the life of Sebastian Smart, who blurs the lines between the arts, both on and off the water. This film will explore the creative process in both surfing and traditional arts, examining the complex relationship they share and ultimately proposing the existence of a creative steroid in the form of flow state. As of Mid 2026, the first cut of the film has been completed and is being refined, ready for festival submissions next season

This was a short commercial/promotional piece for a Bristol-based record label promoting their new project, SIGNAL. I built the production from the ground up, taking it from just an idea to the fully delivered multi deliverable campaign
