THE CREATIVE WAVE

The Creative Wave is a short film that introspectively explores the life of Sebastian Smart, who blurs the lines between the arts, both on and off the water. This film will explore the creative process in both surfing and traditional arts, examining the complex relationship they share and ultimately proposing the existence of a creative steroid in the form of flow state. As of October 2025, the first cut of the film has been completed and is being refined, ready for festival submissions next season
